On the outside, this CB features a completely redesigned, modern look with selectable LCD display that can be red, green, blue or amber to match the interior of a cab. The display also has customizable night and day settings to enhance readability in both very bright and very dark conditions. The 25 LX’s large center scroll knob provides simple one-touch programming of the unit for easy setup and channel changes. Lastly, the 25 LX includes a redesigned ergonomic microphone for easy and comfortable use.

Internally, the 25 LX is based on the classic 25 LTD with some new added features. Also new in the 25 LX is the industry’s first Radio Check Diagnostic. Now drivers can monitor continuously their radio’s RF output and battery voltage. Like previous Cobra 25 models, the 25 LX includes 4 Watts AM RF power output, the maximum allowed by law.

The new Cobra 25 LX also leverages the proven 29 LX model in a compact and affordable new full-featured special edition CB radio featuring a four-color selectable LCD display. This new model also features day/night illumination with adjustable brightness for customizable night and day settings to enhance readability, a digital frequency display, advanced radio check diagnostics for trouble-free performance, instant channel 9 and 19, public address capability, and more.
