Astatic 636L
The 636L microphone is designed especially for use in situations where there is
high background noise levels, such as in trucks but is equally suited for other
applications with or without noise present. The commercial version of this mic
is used in public service agencies, such as fire departments, all over the
United States. The 636L has a rugged ABS housing, polyurethane coated
steel grille, and a dependable low impedance dynamic element.

This is a
noise canceling microphone:
Don't forget the lip guard is there to remind you of the
close spacing required. To best describe the spacing,I would say your upper lip touches the rubber guard
and bottom lip should almost drag the screen when
talking. Take this mic away even 1" or tilt sideways from your mouth and 70% of your audio
is GONE !!!
