Ranger's VX-129cn Night Talker is
the answer to an affordable version of the Cobra 29 Night Watch. This AM
only, 40 Channel, FCC Approved CB radio will give you every bit the
performance of the famous Cobra 29.
The new VX-129 uses a TR-296 style PLL section and a
transformer coupled modulator. The transformer coupled modulator advantages
are increased fidelity and a stabilized, adjustable carrier level. The TCM
is capable of providing a good voltage swing at a low current and produces a
clean output at the crest of the modulation waveform. This translates to
"Maximum Performance" (talk power) with the "Versatility" of the TR-296DX. |
