K-9
Fire-Flex® Coax co-phase
(2 x 18 feet) w/ split connectors

Also Available with screw-on S0-239

The quality of your communications will never be better than what the quality of your coax. These dual lead, co-phase harness assemblies are made from our RG-59A/U, Fire-Flex coaxial cable. They may be used on any dual antenna installation. Check out these features:

  • Stranded center conductor to maximize flexibility and prevent untimely breakage.
  • Shielding coverage that averages 95% to protect against RF leaks and interference.
  • Polyvinyl center insulation for ruggedness and longevity.
  • Performance that exceeds mil-spec requirements for 75 ohm RG-59A/U coax.

Our K-9 co-phase harness utilizes two 18' (5.5m) leads. One end is terminated with a PL-259 type connector to match the connector on your radio and the other two ends are terminated with ring terminals on the center conductors and spade connectors on the shields. This cable should be used in conjunction with the K-4 or K-4R stud mounts and any mounts that use either of the lug-style stud mounts.

Fire-Flex® Coax co-phase $37.99

"Aside from the quality of the coax cable itself, what further sets these assemblies apart from the rest of the crowd is the terminations. The PL-259 has all soldered connections and a molded, weather-tight stress relief. This is the common connector required to match the connection on the back of the transceiver. "

Also available in the K-9A with Pl-259 connectors on all three ends.

The item most overlooked when ordering a custom radio is the microphone.  Your new tuned radio will NOT sound great with a stock mic on it.
If your CB is more than a tool for work, you NEED to upgrade your microphone.  My personal favorites are the Astatic 636L and RD104E.
